It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Vojanův dvůr, where in the hall which we call Stable and which in fact used to be an imperial stable, the no less famous horse ARON used to be kept and was chosen by sculptor Jan Myslbek as a model for the equestrian statue of St. Wenceslas which you can still find in the upper section of Wenceslas Square. And it may have been at that time that Eduard Vojan, actor and director of the National Theatre, used to walk through the U Lužického semináře street.

At present, after the building has gone through several significant restorations, it is an example of the style of an old Czech beerhouse where we offer excellent Czech cuisine with grilled piglets, lambs, chicken, and other old Czech specialties in a summer garden with a capacity of 200 seats, plus 150 more seats inside under the barrel ceilings.
Czech cuisine of course goes hand in hand with beer, namely Královské Krušovické from large capacity copper tanks where it is kept unpasteurized and therefore still "alive”.

When walking from the Prague Castle down the old castle stairs, you cannot miss this restaurant, and it is definitely worth it to spend a good time there, enjoying your lunch or dinner and trying the specialties of Czech cuisine in an atmosphere completed with accordion or cimbalom music.
