9th February, 2010 – COURTNEY PINE & His Band
Courtney Pine – sax, Cameron Pierre – guitar, Robert Fordjour – drums, Zoe Rahman – keyboards, Darren Taylor – bass, Omar Puente – electric violin
The English saxophonist is returning to the festival programme after a longer pause. The première performance in Euroclub (1995) and namely two sold-out concerts in Lucerna bar (1997) belong to unforgettable experiences. In his music he mixes together the elements of jazz, acid jazz and ethnic music.
17th February, 2010 – SCOTT HENDERSON TRIO
Scott Henderson – guitar, voc, John Humphrey – bass, Alan Hertz – drums
A regular performer at APJF, the blues guitarist Scott Henderson has become popular at the audience with his energetic play.
8th March, 2010 – OZ NOY TRIO
featuring Dave Weckl & James Genus
The Israeli guitarist, living in the USA, has belonged in the past years to the most original musicians performing on the New York jazz scene. It is shown also in the evidence that he has invited renown co-players to his European tour, the bassist James Genus and drummer Dave Weckl.
23rd April, 2010 – BOZZIO / HOLDSWORTH / LEVIN / MASTELOTTO
The drummer Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa) and bassist Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel) are known namely to the rock audience. The common project with the guitarist Allan Holdsworth and second drummer Pat Mastelotto foreshadows an exceptional musical experience.
27th April, 2010 – JOHN SCOFIELD JAZZ QUARTET
John Scofield – guitar, Michael Eckroth – piano, keyboards, Ben Street – bass, Bill Stewart – drums
John Scofield releases a new album with a jazz quartet and Prague cannot be omitted from the list of many European cities in his tour.
3rd May, 2010 – GEORGE DUKE BAND
George Duke – keyboards, Michael Manson – bass, Ronald Bruner – drums, Jef Lee Johnson – guitar, Shannon Pearson – vocal
George Duke is a musician, about whose significance for the development of funk we cannot doubt. After the last year's success he is coming back to Europe again. It is hard not to fulfil his wish to perform in Lucerna bar again. Moreover, when at the concert the DVD George Duke – Live in Prague, recorded one year ago on the same stage, will be baptized.
13th May, 2010 – MIKE STERN BAND
with a special guest Richard Bona featuring Dave Weckl & Bob Malach

The performance of this starry group of musicians with a wide musical spectrum will without question be the right summit of the spring part of APJF.
